Rumex latissimus

Common name: Pale Dock, Smooth Dock, Peach -Leaf Dock

Rumex altissimus is native to North America but has been introduced outside of its native range. In New England, this species is non-native. The leaves are simple, alternate, there is one leaf per node along the stem. The flower is radially symmetrical with

six petals, in the flower, the petals or the sepals are fused into a cup or tube. The fruit is dry but does not split open when ripe.
